Our Story

Preston and Helen's story kicked off in the summer of 2018 at A Bar A Ranch in Encampment, Wyoming. Preston, a fly-fishing guide, and Helen, working on the waitstaff, found themselves drawn to each other amidst the rustic charm of the ranch.

Post-summer, life took them in different directions. Helen headed to Denver, Colorado, while Preston embraced a new job in LaMoure, North Dakota. What followed was a solid 4.5 years of long-distance maneuvering, complete with frequent flights between the Rocky Mountains and the Great Plains.
